ABOUT RUBY
Ruby is a 1966 Morris 1000 convertible, born and bred in Oxfordshire, with only one owner for the whole of her life until she was purchased by Tyler in early 2015 and brought to Hampshire.
She was originally called Snowy (all Morris Minors have a name!) and although she was loved and cherished by the first owner, she was a little ‘shabby’ around the edges. Ruby went through an in depth restoration with Tyler putting hours in before he went to college (a three year course in Veteran, Vintage and Classic Vehicle Mechanics) and burning some midnight oil at the end of his day too. We salvaged as many original features that we could. All chrome and upholstery had a thorough clean and shine but unfortunately the old vinyl roof was just beyond help and was replaced with a stunning Mohair one. All interior carpets had to be renewed as well, completing the red interior perfectly.
So in September 2015, after a lot of dedication and a respray, Ruby was ready for wedding duty!
This beautiful British classic is a perfect vehicle for someone looking for something different for their wedding, turning heads and making memories to keep of your special day. She is equally stunning with the roof up or down, perfect for photos.
These little cars really do love to be driven and we never fail to put a smile on the faces of young and old. When you wave at us we always wave back!
